Yeah...I think that title says it all. A few people have told me that they haven't seen anything new on my bloggie. Well, life has definitely played a role in that.

The past 2 weeks have just been an emotional roller coaster. We had a very unexpected death in the family over the weekend. My grandmother had a mass of veins and arteries in her brain that burst and she passed away around 2:30 Sunday afternoon. The funeral is Wednesday, July 11th at 10:00am. It was just so very shocking and numbing for me. I had just seen her Friday nite; she had taken me to Walgreens to get a prescription filled. We drove down there, chatting away, and she had plans to go see a movie with her friend that evening. The next morning, my mother called me and said that Grandma was in the hospital and that they were only giving her a couple of hours to live. I learned a very hard lesson this weekend: you just don't know. Always tell those around you, that you love them. It may be the last time you ever see them alive. It is so hard to think that we will never go Wal*Mart together; that we will never go have lunch at the Cracker Barrell again; that we will never go see a movie together again. I think I grew up a little this weekend...I think something like that forces you too.

Anyway - I have definitely had no time or want to scrapbook the past week or so. I have gotten a few things in the mail and haven't even messed with them. I just don't even want to right now.

I hope you all have a wonderful day...and remember, death happens when you least expect it too.

This is a picture that was taken at my wedding. From left to right: my sister, Rachel; my husband, Troy; me; and my wonderful, loving grandmother, Sharon Stone...We love you, Grandma.

So sorry for your loss. I totally understand the not wanting to do anything. Time will heal you.

I'm 'new' to your blog, just found it and I've never commented yet. But I just want to say that I'm very sorry for you loss. I wish you all the strength you can get.

It's hard for me to say this in english, can't find the right words (I'm dutch).

Love, Mandy
