so, i did some scrapping this week.

i think this weekend, i'm going to attempt to put together one of those fabulous mini's that kristina contes put together a long while ago. i bought 2 of her kits, and still have not put them together yet...it is also my plan to get up early tomorrow morning and try to get some pictures taken. i wanted to do this a couple of weeks ago when we had some really nice weather pass through. set my alarm for 5:30. alarm went off. melissa got up out of bed. turned off the alarm. laid back down and promptly fell back asleep until 8:00. i wasn't entirely thrilled with myself when i realized what i had done right around 8:01 that morning. so, we try again.

glad this work week is over. then again, i say that every friday! next week, i'm working a horrible shift: 11:30am to 8:30pm. it's gonna be a long week.

i purchased the march kit from studio calico this month. i have to say, i was very impressed with their smooth operation. i ordered the kit on saturday. kit shipped on tuesday. i received on thursday. came in a nice sturdy box. very nicely presented on the inside as well. all in all - i give them a 5 star rating. plus, their exclusive stamp this month was to die for. i wanna stamp that thing all over the place.

i also have to say that i wish i could purchase all of tim holtz's paint dauber thingies. i've never used them before and picked up the "lettuce" colored paint dauber a few weeks back...i played around with it some this week...and i do love that thing! i love the texture it gives...i think i may have to pick up a few more colors :-)

well, since i'm supposed to be cleaning the house...guess i'll quit wasting time online and get on with it.

hoping you have a wonderful springy weekend!

Yay! So many pretty things! As for the waking up thing, I read that you have to put the alarm clock far away from the bed so you have to get yourself up, then go to the bathroom, shower and just really push yourself to stay up. I'm not so good at this yet but the concept is good. I look forward to your pictures!
