Hello, Blog Land...

It's been quite a while. Last week just seems like a blur. Seriously.

Going back to the post from last week - to make a VERY long story short about the AC Unit - we ended up having to have the entire outside unit and the coils on the inside unit replaced due to a lightening strike from a bad storm a couple of weeks ago. But, it is finally properly fixed and we have been enjoying a much cooler and MUCH less humid house. Less humidity and cool air makes me a very happy girl.

I also started a new job last week. It is only a part time job, but after just one week, I have discovered that I am really enjoying just the part time. I've never worked a part time job before, so getting off at 1:00 in the afternoon...it's really sorta nice :-)

I also was very busy getting all of my projects done for the kit reveal at Let's Capture Our Memories. All of the layouts/projects below are from the LCOM September Kit [ http://www.letscaptureourmemories.com ] . It was a terrific kit with a TON of product!! I could easily get at least another 2 layouts out of what I have left over.

Last Thursday, I got home and started sneezing. Within the hour, I felt absolutely horrible. Sore throat, shakes, sweats, runny nose, watering eyes...*sigh*....yes, the lovely cold/flu thing that has been going around got me. I went into work Friday morning and when my supervisor spied my tissue she asked if I was sick. I told her yes and she said that I would have to go home. :-( I guess it is kind of nice to have a work place that does not want sick people in their call center...but, I missed out on 4 hours of pay too...oh well. After two days of just laying in bed and alternating between being ultra hot and then ultra cold...and taking Claritin D, I am feeling mucho better :-) The congestion is finally starting to break up in my head and in my chest...

We are finally going to get some cooler weather this week!!!!! I am SO ready for it!! I'm ready for fall so very much!! I've had the itch to get a pumpkin scented candle and make pumpkin pies! I'm ready for some cooler weather for sure...
