This was my final project for the "So You Think You Can Scrap" Competition at Let's Capture Our Memories. We had to complete an altered project that had purple, bling, & flowers on it.

This was an old church hymnal that I converted in a art journal kind of book. I really, really love how it came out! I think my favorite thing about this book is the texture of it! If you can actually feel it and touch the dimension & texture...wow! I used almost an entire jar of mod podge & gesso on this :-) I was very inky/painty for a good 3-4 days while working on this! And I'm proud to say that the hard work paid off because I was voted the winner of the competition! I was in shock when I saw that! Tina & Stephanie were the other two girls who made it to the last round with me and they created equally inspiring projects!!!

Happy Friday & enjoy your weekend!
