Good Morning! It's a fine, albeit very hot, Wednesday morning. I finally got a pile of scrapbook layouts I've done over the past week or so photographed this morning...these are the three that I can share right now. These are all based off of sketches provided by the lovely Studio Calico :-) When the posted at the beginning of the year that they would be providing a weekly sketch this year, I purposed to complete as many of them as possible! I was behind by a few weeks, but got all caught up this past week. All of these were made using July's "Continental" & "Magellan" kits - there are a few bits that weren't necessarily from these two kits, such as the star stamp that I used on "mr. blue eyes". That was from a previous kit.
I'm still finding sneaks on the internets from new scrapbooking stuff coming at out CHA2010. My, oh my. Be still my heart. I'm loving EVERYTHING that Studio Calico will be introducing. The mists, wood veneer embellishments, & stamps are among my favorites. And I am really liking the American Crafts "dear Lizzy" Christmas line. The colors are just fabulous. I love non-traditional holiday colored products.
I'll be back a little later this week with my weekly GCD Studios spotlight product :-) I'm going to work with the chipart tool and some chipboard. And probably some paint and/or mist. :-)
Until then...have a very happy [and cool] day!
